The Boo Crew- Witches Hat Book

Hi Halloween Chicks

I wanted to share a few pictures of the project this week for our subscribers.
Each page of the book is shaped like a witches hat, with a fancy embellished hat band. Love all of the glittery goodness.

Recipe Book Project for Fall Workshop Weekend

Hi Chicks
Here are a few photos of another one of our projects for our Fall Workshop Weekend.

It is a great recipe book with hand folded pockets and wonderful paper and embellishments by Crate Paper.

The covers are acrylic and we had so much fun embellishing the book with the fantastic chipboard and button elements. This will make a great Christmas gift- or maybe you won't want to give it away!

Project Preview for Fall Workshop Weekend

Hi Chicks
Here is another project preview for our Fall Workshop Weekend- October 22 and 23rd.

We are offering you two options with this wonderful mini book, a family book or a Christmas themed book. Both are so fantastic we think you will want both. This project was designed by our talented guest teacher Adrienne and she utilized all sorts of fantastic materials and techniques. She used paper and embellishments from Authentique, a brand new scrapbooking company.

We also included a short video below to show off all of the beautiful details of these mini books.

Halloween Calendar

So- if you have been searching our site looking for the magnetic Halloween calendar you probably realized it is not there for sale yet.

Big snag. Our wholesale supplier is out of stock on the paper mache stand up piece- yes you know the foundation of the whole project! She estimates they will have them back in stock around the end of Oct. Hmmm, that doesn't work so well.

We located and ordered some from a retail site but we don't want to post anything for sale until we actually have them in our hands- should be Thursday.
We will have them this weekend at our Community Crop at the library in Issaquah, or to ship out on Friday. We don't want to break the library's rules and so we can't sell anything at the crop this weekend but can make arrangements to purchase and pick up kits from us offsite.

Thanks!
Kerry and Darcie

It is a 10 month organizer and mini album- the sample is done for school but you could also re-interpret this to be for Vacation, Countdown to Baby, Wedding Planner, Household Organizer, etc.

Our subscribers get full color step by step instructions as well as online resources to purchase all of the supplies and a special rate if the project also comes in a kit form. Some of our projects also have accompanying instructional videos.

New Kit- 31 Days of Halloween Magnetic Calendar

Hi Spooky Halloween Chicks!
Okay I know it is still September but for this project you want to get started- so we are getting our "Spooky On" a little early.
It is another of our fantastic magnetic countdown calendars- this time with a bit of a twist.

The "calendar" is a stand up paper mache piece- it is 3 panels joined with hinges.

We added sheet metal behind the paper and each of the calendar pieces has a button magnet on the back so Voila! a new kind of magnetic calendar. The indivual panels are about 8 x 11 1/2.

We also decorated the backside with patterned paper and die cut large BOO letters from glittered cardstock.

The best part about this kit is that we did all of the hard work for you! You just need to do the assembly work- everything is die cut and ready to go.

This kit is available for pre-order on our website starting tomorrow (Click HERE for our Kit Shop) and will start shipping out via Priority Mail on Monday Sept 19th.

We included LOTS of fun dimensional embellishments and many custom created pieces and die cuts.

Sorry- I have been a very bag blogger this summer

Hi Chicks

Happy School Year!

Sorry, I have been an uber bad blogger this summer- but I promise to get back on track.

Its funny how school starting feels like a new year even though it has been MANY years since I was actually starting school in September. So Happy School Year to everyone.

We have some great project previews coming for our October Workshop and a really fantstic Halloween Magnetic Calendar coming later today. I am just putting the finishing touches on it. Even my mom (who can be slightly critical) said she thought it was pretty great. Okay here are a few sneak peeks of it:
