Sneak Peek for Spring Creativity in Bloom Workshop Weekend

Here is another sneak preview of one of our projects for our upcoming workshop weekend.

It is a series of stacked canvas pieces. They are covered with canvas and burlap.

We are going to use some inking techniques with the new Tim Holtz Distress Stains, an iron on photo transfer, some metal, staining our own accessories for the project and so much more.

This is a really beautiful and textural project- it will look great on your wall at home. I actually added a few things to this after we snapped the photos- we will also be working with some Chalk Stock chalkboard cardstock tags. Very cool.

Here is another sneak peek of a project for our Creativity in Bloom Spring Workshop Weekend May 14th and 15th.

This is a mini book project by Kerry using a Maya Road chipboard book and Jillibean Soup Blossom Soup paper collection.

It is full of bright spring and summer colors, lots of insert pieces- pockets, tags, fold outs, lots of ribbon and lots of fun!

Sorry for the long delay in blogging. Too much real life getting in the way. We have some project sneak peeks to show you for our Creativity in Bloom Spring Workshop Weekend coming up on May 14th and 15th. You can still register for the workshop, or to purchase the "Chicks To Go" package.

This project is by our talented guest teacher Adrienne Guitron. It is a fantastic not so mini- mini book. The book is actually 12 x 12 with gatefold pages inside. It is a Year In Review style book titled "We Remember Moments".

We just love how this project turned out. Plus- what great photos. Thanks Adrienne!

Project for Weekly Subscribers- Recipe Pockets

Happy Wednesday Chicks!
We are so thrilled with this cute recipe pockets project this week. We loved this paper by Kaiser Craft, it is such a great combination of vintage and kitschy.

This book is made with all hand folded pockets and tag inserts. You can also add more recipes between the pockets.

Another Project This Week

Hi Chicks I got behind last week and so here are two projects in a row for our Project A Week subscribers. This week is a fun Birdhouse box with a mini accordion album tucked inside. Our directions include a template to make the birdhouse and also directions for the spiral flower on the front. If you are a subscriber we have a few kits of this project for sale on our Members Only Blog. If we have any kits left from this we will put them in our kit shop later this week.
