December Daily Project

Hi Chicks

We have a FANTASTIC project to show you, a December Daily album designed by the very talented Adrienne Guitron.

She combined the fun and colorful Seasons Greetings collection by Echo Park Paper Company, with Red, Green and Kraft cardstock, tinsel, glitter, envelopes, tags, file folders, glassine bags, ribbon, bakers twine and so many fun embellishments.

We will be offering this as a kit for purchase (we will post a blog update when they are online later today) and the kits will be shipping out on Monday November 21st. If you purchase a kit of this project we will also be offering a free class on Sunday November 27th during our Holiday Open House.

Scrapbook Escape Weekend

Come relax and start the New Year off by catching up on your projects or starting a new one! Beginner scrapbookers and all types of papercrafters are welcome! Our Scrapbook Escape Weekend is at Falls Creek Retreat Center near Raymond Washington. It is a spectacular 157 acres of forest, meadows, streams and even a beautiful waterfall. Falls Creek is the perfect place for our scrapbookers to relax, unwind, create and connect with friends. The Conference Center at Falls Creek is a huge (5300 sq ft) space with LOTS of room for everyone to spread out, room for our onsite vendors and even separate classroom space.
Our Scrapbook Escape Weekend Package Includes:
-Overnight Accommodations (Friday, Saturday and Sunday)-both private and shared rooms (2-3 people) in the sleeping lodges. each person has their own bed with linens- these are not "camp cot" style beds. Lodges also have hot tubs, living areas and kitchenettes with refrigerator and microwave.
-24 Hour Crop Room Access for Maximum Scrapbooking Time! Leave your scrapbooking table set up- we will have an attendant in the Scrapbooking Center at all times.
-6' table for each cropper
-Pod-style seating with your friends
-All meals, the talented chef for Falls Creek will prepare all of our delicious meals and even serve dinner by candlelight. Meals include, Friday dinner, Saturday breakfast, lunch, dinner Sunday brunch and dinner and Monday brunch.
Falls Creek also operates an Espresso bar until 2 pm every day- because ladies there isn't a Starbucks around for miles! (attendees are responsible to pay for their own drinks from the Espresso Bar)
-Snacks and beverages throughout weekend
-Dessert buffet Friday and Saturday evenings
-Wireless Internet access (available in the Conference Center and Dining Lodge)
-Electricity provided for your Ott Lights, Cricuts and other machines
-Tool Center with Cricut Expression, over 30 cartridges to use (Please bring your own 12x12 Cricut mats), Big Shot Die-Cut Machine with embossing and cutting dies, Slice Die Cut Machine, Lots of Punches, Cinch and Bind it All binding machines, heat gun, stamps, and more!
-Awesome Goodie Bags both Friday and Saturday!!
-Door Prizes
-Shopping-We will have stores set up from Sharin' Memories and Scrap Yard Chicks for your shopping needs. We will utilize a "running tab" system for the weekend, which you can pay before you leave. We accept Credit Cards, Cash and Checks. We may also have some vendors at our retreat weekend. We will have more information about that at a later date.
-Classes-We will be offering a few classes for an extra fee. These will take place in a separate classroom space that adjoins the Main Scrapbook Center. Classes will be announced at a later date.
-Age limit- We welcome anyone over the age of 16 as a paid attendee for our Scrapbook Escape Weekend. Attendees under the age of 18 must have adult supervision at all times.
We plan these weekend events with the intention of our attendees having a fun and relaxing time with friends and family. By registering for an event, you are accepting all responsibility for your own actions and debts that you incur while attending. The goal is to have fun and get inspired!
