Its Beginning to Look Like Christmas Layouts!- Come Shop with us on Saturday Nov 23rd!

I love seeing all of the 10 Layouts completed for my class and kit, 10 Pages of Christmas Layouts, they are so purdy! I love the Echo Park paper line Tis the Season that I selected for this year's pages.

Christmas Classes- November 23rd in Sammamish

Hi Scrappy Chicks
I have a couple of classes coming up in November to help you get a start or finish your Christmas projects.

10 Pages of Christmas Layouts-Saturday November 23rd 9 am-Noon $40Get a jump start on your 2013 Christmas Pictures with this fun and fast paced layout class. We will complete Ten 12 x 12 Layouts during this class, using the Tis the Season collection by Echo Park Paper Company. There are so many festive elements, die cuts, chipboard, brads, tags and more.
All supplies are included, you just bring your own adhesive and regular scrapbooking tools. Class will be held in Sammamish at Kerry's Home.
This class will also be available as a kit if you are unable to attend the class.

Chicken Wire Advent Calendar Class-Saturday November 23rd 1-4 pm $40
This project is so fantastic and unique, it combines mini red clothespins, a 3 dimensional chicken wire Christmas tree, and 24 of the funnest handmade ornaments using felt, yarn, bottle caps, glitter paper, canvas, ribbon, buttons and so much more! During class we will be working on the 24 individual ornaments. The chicken wire trees are ready for you to add your ornaments.

Handmade with Love Recipe Book-Saturday November 23, 6-8 pm $30This wonderful custom made recipe book is 6x9 and filled with pockets just perfect to tuck in your favorite recipes. The paper collection is Homemade with Love by Carta Bella. This class will also be available for purchase as a kit.

Another great recipe book project, with a wonderful new paper collection by Carta Bella Paper called Homemade with Love. The book is made of a mini clipboard cover and 10 different pockets inside embellished with ribbon, trims, charms, stickers and more! The book will be bound with rings so you can customize with your own recipes and pages if you desire. Photos are coming soon- this is a brand new collection and will be shipping from the vendor starting on November 8th.

Project from October Workshop Weekend

In all of my busyness getting ready for the October Workshop, I forgot to post photos of the 6x12 Family Album featuring the Collecting Moments collection by Fancy Pants.

The album is a 6x12 format with a hidden hinge binding and lots of interactive pages with pockets, tags, envelopes, etc.

There is a lot of room to add your photos.

I have some leftover kits that I will be putting up for sale on my website. The kit is FULL of great product, patterned paper, coordinating stickers, coordinating buttons, coordinating mini bags, coordinating tickets, Family stencil pack, wood laser cut album title, corrugated cardstock, Bazzill coordinating cardstock, May Arts ribbons and so much more!

Sneak Peek 4- Elle's Studio 2014 Mini Album

I feel like the luckiest girl in Sammamish- I have Elle from Elle's Studio coming to teach a class for the October Workshop Weekend.

I am so excited, secretly I was hoping she would use the new 2014 collection and guess what- SHE IS!

You attendees are so lucky too- it is so brand new that most stores don't even have it on their shelves yet. If you are signed up for this class you will need to bring 12- 4x6 photos, one for each month to complete this fantastic mini.

I am in the process of getting the pricing and registration updated so if you want to sign up for just a few classes, or just Saturday or just Sunday you will be able to.

Sneak Peek 3- Library Tray with 4 Mini Albums

Oh what fun this project is! 4 different mini albums in a fantastic 7 Gypsies library tray!

This album is full of hand folded vellum pockets and some great embellished insert cards. This album is all made from scratch- such a cool technique!

This one is an album made of shipping tags, altered, covered, embellished, embossed, inked and into fun little pieces of art.

Album number 3 is an accordion album of pockets made from one sheet of 12 x 12 cardstock! The covers are cool embossed metal that I used alcohol ink, paint and sandpaper to distress. This one is messy but fun!

Album 4 is a custom created canvas cover with stencils and ink. The book is all handmade and hand bound and then the pages are bound with stab stitches (that sounds so gruesome doesn't it?) and then we will finish this off with some fun embellishments.

More Sneak Previews for October Workshop Weekend

Here is the 16x20 Frame project made with a different collection, the Simple Stories Urban Traveler.

I also used Tim Holtz Distress Ink to color the canvas.

I made some custom die cuts for this version, a luggage tag photo frame and a suitcase.
