Fun Fun Fun at Scrapbook Expo

We had such a good time last weekend at The Scrapbook Expo in Puyallup. We met a bunch of new fun scrapbookers, got to see friends from all over Washington, we did a super cute make and take, sold some of our kits, ate some really delicious food from Don's Drive In just across the street from the fair grounds, and came home exhausted.

These are a few new kits that we sold at the EXPO, they will be online in our kit shop later this week as soon as we do an inventory.

Great Escape Travel Book Kit Online

My goal for the summer was to blog more, but here it is almost a month after my last post, and I am just now getting around to posting a new project. Yikes!

This is a fun kit based on a project class that I (Kerry) taught in spring 2009. It is a book entirely made of cardstock, with lots of fold out flaps, pockets, tags and other fun stuff. I ramped up the embellishments, and added a lot more details and photo spots with this version. Visit our KIT SHOP for more details and to purchase this fun kit.
We are using a lot of Making Memories fantastic embellishments, their metal and epoxy clips, rub on set (there are actually 2 sheets of run ons), their coordinating ribbon and trim and one of my favorite things is the Wordfetti by Making Memories that comes with the kit. It is such a fun way to personalize a mini book with phrases, words and funny sentences. It reminds me of the magnetic refrigerator poetry sets.

To make the construction of this project easy, the cardstock pieces are all pre-cut, pre-scored and actually numbered to coordinate with the directions. So fantastic. That way you can concentrate on the fun stuff-embellishing and adding your photos.

Have fun!
