Another Sneak Preview-Folded Paper Flowers Album

Well, this amazing project started out as a mini class project-it was just supposed to be a few folded flowers, maybe 45 mins to an hour. A great warm up.
So as we started each figuring out what flowers we wanted to do, and making them, and the project GREW and GREW.

Soon we had a whole garden of flowers, all fun, all different.

Then we picked our paper, the Fresh Prints Clothesline by Little Yellow Bicycle. We thought that the paper was pretty but nothing too great-until we folded it into flowers. Voila! Gorgeous.

The album for this is really simple, an accordion fold, acrylic cover with patterned paper and cardstock tags. A few of the flowers are on top of the acrylic cover, the rest are enclosed behind.

We think you will love making this beautiful album. Lots of super techniques to learn.

Oh Happy Days Portfolio Album Project Sneak Preview

Hello Chicks in Scrappy Land

Here is another sneak preview for our May Workshop Weekend. It is a Portfolio album featuring the Bella Boulevard All Inclusive paper and embellishments.

This is such a great project for a trip-we have included 5 different pockets inside of the portfolio for things like tickets, postcards, journaling, plus 2 fold out photo albums for LOTS of pictures.

This paper is beautiful and citrusy and just makes me want to go someplace warm and tropical.
At least I can dream about it as I gaze at this fun project- Enjoy!

Printer Tray Project for Spring Workshop

Here is our first sneak preview of the projects for our Spring Workshop Weekend.

These printer trays by Seven Gypsies are the perfect combination of home decor and photo display-we just loved this dark brown color and set of "Nest" stickers with coordinating paper and embellishments. We added our own special mini album so we could include more photos with our project.
I apologize to my sweet chocolate lab Hershey for not being included in the picture display on the tray-I was having some issues with my little photo printer and black and white pictures-ahh technology is so grand. She will, of course, be included on my home display and there is a cute photo of her in the mini album. The other cute chicks are my sister Cindy and nieces Brittani (who turns 18 this month) and Parker (who is about 1 year old in the photo). Such cuties. I do also have nephews but they are not usually very cooperative when it comes to photos- so I don't have a lot of great ones of them.
Check back later this week-we will have sneak preview of our Oh Happy Days Portfolio album featuring Bella Boulevard's All Inclusive line.

Have a wonderful day and enjoy this gorgeous spring weather!

Early Bird Crop added to our Spring Workshop Weekend

Oh we have such a great surprise for everyone!

We have added an Early Bird (get the Chick tie in? he he he) Crop in the hotel on Friday night of our Spring Workshop Weekend.
Our Early Bird Crop won't be in the ballroom where our classes will be-because we will be working like little elves getting everything ready for the weekend-but instead in a smaller banquet room. We are so thrilled to offer this to our early arrivals as a chance to get to know each other and work on projects. We will have more details as we get closer to our event.

Here is what I (Kerry) am working on right now- My Oh Happy Days Portfolio Album. LOVE LOVE LOVE this paper collection. It makes me yearn for summer-especially when we have had hail/snow/ice pellets at our house at least 2 days last week-Yuck!

I will post an update of what the other chicks are working on later in the weekend. We are working on Sunday and last week we made some gorgeous and fun folded paper flowers for one of our mini classes. So many great flowers everywhere right now. As far as the project- I can give you a hint- it has an accordion binding, acrylic cover, tags, and SIX different flowers with the Fresh Print Clothesline paper from Little Yellow Bicycle. Mmmm. Lovely.

This is what Oskar does with his time while I am scrapbooking. It is a hard life at our house-but isn't he just the cutest thing. He is 14 months old now and still such a puppy. I can only get good close up photos of him while he is sleeping.
