Spring Basket

Hello and Happy Spring Chicks!

This is a fast and easy Spring Basket, perfect for a table favor (if you use a 6x6 piece of paper) or for a great Easter Basket (if you use a 12 x 12)

Score paper at 4 and 8, turn a quarter turn and score again at 4 and 8. Fold along score lines.

(for a 6x6 piece score at 2 and 4, then turn a quarter turn and score again at 2 and 4)

Clip from edge to first score line on two opposite sides,

Fold center piece in and then fold the two sides in as shown and fasten with glue- or staple.

Cut 1x12 piece of cardstock or patterned paper and attach for handle. Add ribbon along handle if desired.

Add flower or other embellishment to cover staple and handle end.

I totally have Spring Fever- all of the stores have their colorful Spring decorations out, and I see the Cherry Trees are just getting ready to bloom- so exciting.

It's Party Time Mini Book

Hi Chicks
This is a project preview for our Project a Week subscribers. This week is a fun and colorful 6x6 birthday book, it is full of tags and pockets.

We used an Imaginisce birthday paper collection, plus their fantastic epoxy stickers and some of their fun printed embellishments that are on springs so they literally pop out at you!

Happy Spring Banner for Subscribers

Hey Chicks
When we were getting ready for our big Workshop Weekend our subscribers got shorted a project and a layout that week. Hey- we needed to get some sleep that week!
So here is the make up project, a fun Happy Spring banner.

I love banners to bring in beautiful and bright color and add some great embellishments that you might have lurking in your scrapbook drawers.

So Happy Spring everyone! I can feel that warm weather right around the corner (right?)

Project preview for March 2 2011

Happy Wednesday Chicks!

This week our project is a really fun Photo Wallet- a perfect little brag book or mini for some fun Spring and Summer Photos. The mini opens up to a pocket at the bottom and fold out accordion sides.

We did the sample with some Brand New Bella Boulevard Paper and their new Short Stories Journaling sheet, then added in some of their fun and bright stickers.

I think we have Spring Fever!
