Man, I'm not sure what the deal is, but I've had a terrible time trying to write and post this. We had the slooooowest connection at the hotel Tuesday night and after hanging out and using every last bit of energy at Disneyland, neither Kerry nor I had the patience to wait for the internet’s spinning wheel of doom. Yesterday our flight was delayed and I had trouble with the internet at the airport – yuck! Now Blogger’s being silly and won’t update my draft. Fourth time’s a charm? Good grief! =P
Kerry and I were able to get through the rest of the show as well as to a lot of non-scrapbooking parts. Again we found kind of the same - the manufacturers are releasing several lines a few of which we like and a few that were so-so. The hard part is that we're here looking and planning for future products so while we may have liked a paper line and would use it for personal scrapbooking, they weren't necessarily something we could see using for a class or online kit. We discovered that Heidi Grace is back and is designing under the name Clever Handmade - so excited to see what she comes out with in the future - remember those cute witch's shoes and spiders she always had at Halloween? We like a couple of the new Pink Paisley lines. Adorn it has some cute paper, fabric and buttons coming out. Basic Grey has fabulous paper and embellishments as always. Fancy Pants and My Little Shoebox have cute lines being released as well. Jenni Bowlin has some punches coming out that I can't wait to play with and Heidi Swapp has a fun travel line coming out – I love her little photo covers that make any photo look like a polaroid. Tons of stuff!
Keep an eye on Facebook as we’ve put some photos of our finds on there. Also, we have a library crop, a couple retreats and a workshop coming up so check your calendars and come scrap with us!
Happy Scrappin’!
Darcie
